Meet Julia

Julia founded VOA from Ireland in September 2019 — trained in law, and shaped by a life built across borders.

Having navigated her own relocations through France, Ireland, Brazil and the United Kingdom, she knows relocation from both sides of the desk: the ambition that drives a move abroad, and the administrative reality that can stall it. It is precisely this dual perspective — the client's and the counsel's — that she built VOA upon.

Before welcoming her first clients, she devoted a full year to mastering the legal and practical landscape of international relocation: visa frameworks, residency pathways, the unwritten rules that determine whether a file moves forward or sits still. That foundation of rigour still defines how VOA works today — across every destination it serves, and for every client who entrusts their next chapter to it.

Growth as a team

In March 2020, VOA became a team.

What began as support for individuals quickly outgrew its original scope — not by design, but by demand. Clients arrived through word of mouth, each with a different destination, a different profession, a different life to build. Rather than turn them away, we did what we do best: we studied, we adapted, and we mastered new legal landscapes.

Within months, VOA was crafting personalized relocations not only to Brazil, but to France, Ireland, Spain and the United Kingdom — establishing the multi-destination expertise that defines the firm today.

Originally trained as an engineer, Mathieu brought a rigorous and structured approach to his transition into law — where he now works as a legal assistant, supporting the VOA team on all juridical matters related to international relocation.

But what truly sets Mathieu apart is his people-first mindset. An avid traveller who has explored the world first-hand, he understands the challenges and opportunities that come with building a life abroad. Based in Paris, he is the friendly and reliable face behind every client relationship at VOA — always available to listen, reassure and guide, whether the question is legal or simply human.

Passionate about helping others and genuinely invested in each client's journey, Mathieu combines legal precision with warmth and care — making sure no one ever feels alone in the process. Fluent in both French and English, he is the dedicated point of contact our clients can count on, from the very first conversation to the final stages of their move.
